from the Box Tops contest and they loved it.

scheduling it with Mr. Seamster.

4. Presidents Report
a. Cookbook sales – Pam Johnson will create another flyer
to go home on Friday to solicit sales.
b. Bazaar had low attendance. We were competing with
Ashland and other schools. Thoughts for next year were to
have it on Friday and offer inexpensive food for dinner.
5. 2007-2008 Budget
a. Need invoices from the Secret Santa and Bazaar.
b. Administrative Expenses are high due to some NSF checks.
Kelly is following up on them
6. Committee Reports
a. Publicity – Need to update bulletin boards. They will
show pictures from the field trips taken this year and
advertise the cookbook to sell.
b. Hospitality – Lara thanked everyone for the food
donations at the bazaar
c. Campbell’s Soup Labels – Kamey Tippett will count the
labels in January and review what we qualify to purchase.
Need help in trimming and packaging labels.
d. Cookbook – Will send out flyers and emails to solicit
sales
7. Fundraisers:
a. Jogathon for next Columbus Day. Pam Johnson to create a
list of things needed for the jogathon. Two chairpersons
needed to run the jogathon.
b. Longaberger basket bingo
Margie
will review bylaws to see if it is feasible.
The main
idea is to sell tickets (approx $20) which will give the
individual entrance into the event (to be held at Dumfries
Firehouse possibly) and three bingo cards. If they want to
purchase additional cards, they would be available at the
event. The prizes for each game would be a Longaberger
basket which Pam Maples said she would give to us at her
cost. We could sell refreshments and have a door raffle. If
we are interested, Pam Maples agreed to review the entire
program at the next PTCO meeting.
c.
Margie suggested selling chocolate roses for Valentine’s
Day. She will check with her previous school on vendor and
cost.
8. Question was raised as to the status of the
PattiePTCO.org website.
9. Meeting Adjourned at 7:50.
10. Next meeting on January 8 at 7 pm at Pattie Library.
